Microgreens

Microgreens are young and tender edible plants that are harvested at an early stage of growth, typically within 7 to 21 days after germination. They are smaller than baby greens but larger than sprouts, usually measuring 1 to 3 inches in height. Microgreens are grown from various vegetable, herb, and leafy green seeds. Microgreens often containing higher nutrient levels than more mature vegetable greens and their nutrient contents vary slightly, most varieties tend to be rich in potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper. Loaded with up to 40 times more nutrition than their fully-grown. Microgreens are commonly used as/with garnishes, salad toppings, or in culinary dishes to add texture, flavor, and visual appeal.

Note : Pregnant women, young children, and the elderly can consume microgreens as part of a balanced and varied diet. However, it's always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making any dietary changes, especially during pregnancy or for individuals with specific health conditions.
